Multiplier event in Greece 29 May 2023
Greece focused on educating students so that they can recognize and then deal with fake news responsibly. We set as our goal the development of media literacy skills of our students.
Digital literacy, media and information skills alone do not provide a foolproof solution against disinformation, and the burden cannot be solely on children to protect themselves.
The school principal introduced the event and presented the actions of the school and the partners focusing on the importance of acknowledging fake news and the need to combat it. The 5th GYMNASIUM of Volos focused on the issue of educating students so that they can recognize and then deal with Fake News responsibly. The goal was to develop media literacy skills of our students.
